Auto Marine Cables wins Logistics Excellence Award at the prestigious Northwest Automotive Alliance

The North West region has achieved great success in helping suppliers in the automotive sector grow into larger companies, and this progress was showcased at the Northwest Automotive Alliance (NAA) Awards, which took place in Cheshire on 6th November. 

The evening featured keynote addresses from Jerry Hardcastle OBE, Chairman of the Automotive Council Technology Group, and General Manager for Innovation and Performance Projects, Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Limited. 

Attention then turned to the NAA Awards 2014.  These prestigious and hotly contested awards saw companies rewarded for their outstanding achievement.

Manchester based, Auto Marine Cables, had been shortlisted for the Logistics Excellence Award. 

With great anticipation representatives from Auto Marine eagerly awaited as Mr Michael Doyle, VP Operational Excellence DHL Supply Chain Europe announced the winner.  With absolute trepidation and delight Auto Marine scooped the first prize and won the Logistics Excellence award.

We are delighted that our logistics strategy is paying dividends and this award reflects the hard work of all our staff, as well as the support we have received from organisations such as the Northwest Automotive Alliance”.
